Would you like to be a critical member of an assessment team?
A Certified CMMC Professional is an important contributor to an assessment team. CCPs must complete an official course from a Licensed Training Provider (LTP) and meet a few other requirements. Pass a certification test and the knowledge gained is rewarded with a listing on the CMMC-AB marketplace.
CCPs are eligible to continue their education and certification path towards becoming a Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA).
Are you better suited to lead the Assessment team?
Every team requires a lead assessor. The path to becoming a Certified CMMC Assessor (CCA) is more intense due to the responsibility placed on the CCA’s shoulders. The lead assessor is ultimately the one who determines and submits the recommendation for certification to the CMMC-AB. They must be aware of and manage any conflicts of interest within their team and ensure a thorough and accurate assessment. All team members take direction from the lead assessor and report findings back as a contribution to the central assessment repository.
CCAs may conduct assessments up to the level of their own certification. A CCA may progress from CCP to CCA Level 1, CCA Level 2, and then on to CCA Level 3.
